Matsushita Electric Works Information Systems to Open E-Learning

Tokyo, May 19, 2006 - (JCN) - Matsushita Electric Works Information Systems (MEW-IS) will launch MP Learning, an e-learning service for pharmacists, in collaboration with Mediceo Paltac Holdings on May 23.
Designed to help pharmacists acquire practical knowledge, the service will focus on lifestyle-related diseases, supplements and health foods, pharmaceutical management and communication skills.
MEW-IS will operate the service while Mediceo Paltac will manage the service content which will be provided on an ASP basis.
Those who will apply by March 31, 2007, will be required to pay 12,000 yen ($108) annually. MEW-IS aims to sign up 20,000 subscribers in the first year.
