Hitachi to Release Micro-computer and One-chip Inverter IC

Tokyo, Apr 17, 2007 - (JCN) - Hitachi announced on April 13 that it will release a micro-computer and one-chip inverter IC set, which compared with a conventional motor, improves motor efficiency by 15 percent and reduces noise by 35 percent. The inverter IC set will be available from April 20.
The micro-computer and one-chip inverter IC is best used as fan motor for air conditioning. In Hitachi's quest for a permanent- magnet motor, the micro-computer comes equipped with a regulator which can control the speed and phase of a motor.
The location sensor on the motor controls the rotation speed; similarly the location sensor and electric-polarity signals control the phase measurement to a designated value. The width rotation is 100-1 and 100 rpm and its burden range (output power is 0-1.5A)
