PRAISED last year for giving up a pounds 1million shirt sponsorship in order to publicise the Acorns children's charity on their kit instead, Aston Villa have just made the money back with interest.
How? By winning pounds 1.2m prize money in the Peace Cup pre- season tournament organised by ex-jailbird, retired arms manufacturer, mass wedding planner and right-wing basher of gays as "dung-eating dogs", the Reverend Sun Myung Moon.
The oddball cult leader who in 2004 hired a Washington government building to stage a bizarre coronation of himself as "humanity's saviour, messiah, returning lord and true parent", is seen here presenting Nigel ReoCoker with the trophy.
