0 Comments | Evening Gazette (Middlesbrough, England), Sept 29, 2009
ARSONISTS who torched a Teesside tanning salon have caused pounds 30,000 of damage.
As reported in last night's Evening Gazette, The Sun Centre on Orchard Way, Ormesby Bank, was attacked twice by fire starters at 11pm on Saturday night and about 2am on Sunday morning.
Three fire appliances attended the scene, thought to have been started with dangerous explosions, at the family-run business.
Kevin Conway, 24, is the manager of the Sun Centre, owned by his dad.
He said: "After the first explosion, the fire didn't take hold and they came back and did another one. We've got it on CCTV which is now in the hands of the police.
