IT IS rare to see a hairy biker in ladies' lingerie.

But yesterday more than 120 bikers wearing pink bras and vests roared into George Square to celebrate the end of a marathon charity ride round Scotland.

The Breast Way Round - now in its third year - was started in memory of Alyson Porter, a biker from Lancashire who died from breast cancer in July 2008, aged 47. It is organised by her best friend, Shirley Ann Barnes.

The group completed a four-day 450-mile ride starting in Kilmarnock and taking in Oban, Inverness and Fort William. They raised more than pound(s)35,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Crowds who turned out to welcome them were treated to entertainment organised by Motherwell man Jamie Loudon, co-owner of motorbike training school Route 66.
