A START-UP audio distribution firm in Edinburgh has signed a potentially transformational deal with Dixons Travel, which is expected to generate sales of up to GBP 1.3 million over the next 12 months.
DAD Audio, which supplies retailers with gadgets such as speakers and MP3 players, will see its products stocked in 47 Dixons airport stores throughout the UK.
The firm, which was set up last year, hopes the deal will help it to grow turnover to GBP 4m by April 2011. It expects to have reached sales of between GBP 1.2m and GBP 2.5m by the end of its current financial year in April 2010.
